The Haitian Standard NH ISO 14001:2015 was adopted by the Technical Committee “Environment and Sanitation: TC 3”, containing 51 pages.
NH ISO 14001:2015 has the status of a Haitian standard. It reproduces with modifications the International Standard ISO 14001:2015.
Introduction #
The purpose of this National Standard is to provide a framework for organizations to protect the environment and respond to changing environmental conditions, taking into account socio-economic needs. It specifies requirements that enable an organization to achieve the expected results it has set for its environmental management system.
Field of application #
This Haitian standard specifies the requirements for an environmental management system that can be used by an organization to improve its environmental performance.
